We would like to update how the trails are coming along in the Hartland, Pittsfield area. The rail bed from Pittsfield to Hartland is in great shape and open. The trails going to St/ Albans and to Devil's Head scenic overlook have been all signed and now are open. Very nice view looking over Great Moose Pond. The trail continues to Harmony were people can stop at the local store for gas, food, ect. The Skowhegan trail from Hartland to Skowhegan, Athens and Canaan is open, there are some rocky and muddy areas and people should travel with caution as more work is planned for this section. - Valley ATV Riders 6/2/08
Please check website for the latest on trail openings. Some trail repair delays due to assessments still going on from the spring flood damage. Funding is an issue. It may be a while before some trails will open, be careful out there... enjoy the wildlife. Send us your photos. :) Don in Northern Maine

The bridge is out over Wilson Stream on the "41 trail" Trail closure off the Whittier Rd. in Farmington on the "Rt. 41 " trail due to the request of the landowner due to heavy rains. FMI contact Matt Lemieux mattreb1@localnet.com
